About the My Whiplash Navigator Website
My Whiplash Navigator has been developed by whiplash researchers at The University of Sydney and The University of Queensland in collaboration with people with lived experience of whiplash and with the support of the Motor Accident Insurance Commission (Queensland) and the State Regulatory Insurance Authority (NSW) for use by patients and members of the public ((General Consumers) also referred to in these Terms as General Users) and registered health practitioners including doctors, physiotherapists, nursing staff and other allied health professionals (Health Care Professionals also referred to in these Terms as Registered Users ).
- My Whiplash Navigator is a self-directed program to help guide recovery after a whiplash injury. a self-guided exercise programme with instructions on how to do the recommended exercises.
Health Care Professionals can access up-to-date information on assessment for whiplash (what and how to assess) and research-based management of whiplash injury.
My Whiplash Navigator is based on the latest evidence to support recovery from whiplash, providing:
- information about whiplash and the latest guidance promoting recovery from whiplash injury.
- a self-guided exercise programme with instructions on how to do the Guideline-recommended exercises.
- answers to common questions about whiplash.
Acceptance of Terms
Your use of the Website (whether by browsing or downloading Material or, in the case of Health Care Professionals, by accessing restricted Materials using your username and password) is Your binding acceptance of these Terms. We may amend these Terms from time to time and You will be deemed to have accepted any amendments once those amendments have been published on the Website. If the new Terms substantially affect Your use of the Website, You may cease to use the My Whiplash Navigator Website and, if you are a Registered User, you may cancel your registration by sending us a message on the Contact Page, requesting that we cancel your registration.

General Consumers
If You are a General Consumer (ie a patient or a carer or a member of the public seeking guidance about whiplash), You agree to use the Material for Your own personal, non-commercial use.
